Shiseido Maquillage - Neo Climax Lip RS753

Introduction
Maquillage is Shiseido's young line exclusively sold in Asia country. It is replacing the PN (Pied Nus) which is my favourite.

Texture
Non sticky, non fragranced, sheer as a lipstick but provide enough pigments as a gloss.

Packaging
From the advertisement photo, a lot of people would think it is a lipstick with 'bullets' at the surface but in fact it is a liquid lipstick in a plastic lipstick shape container. The concept is similar to Maquillarge's another lipgloss in a thin long wand or the Maybeline 3D lipshines. You twist the bottom of the lipstick and the liquid will be dispensed out from the holes on the surface. Pretty and practical design, I like it very much.

Price
RM72, quite reasonable, launched in August 2007.

Review
I'm attracted to its packaging at the 1st place but now I think it is quite a nice product too. I always love lipsticks by Japanese cosmetics company like Sofina, Kose, Kanebo Testimo but Shiseido PN (discontinued) and Maquillage is my top of the list favourite by far. I'm even thinking of converting all my lipsticks into this line.

It comes in 8 colors and I got the RS753. The other color that I like is OR331 but I already have their lipstick in the orange range. This RS753 is very natural, almost the same color as my lips and I have moderate pigmented lips. My lips looks like wearing nothing but looks glossy. This color has subtle gold shimmer that is barely noticeable on lips. Great for a natural look. My lips feel very comfortable with this gloss, it just feels like lipblam, not sticky at all. The other 2 colors in the PK family is too cool for me and make my yellow skintone looks dull.

Shiseido Maquillage - Sheer Climax Rouge 20

Introduction
Maquillage is Shiseido's young line exclusively sold in Asia country. It is replacing the PN (Pied Nus) which is my favourite.

Texture
Non sticky, non fragranced, very moisturizing and ultra light weight.

Packaging
Beautiful! The color of the tube is quite similar with the actual color and it is very convenient for me to pick the color I want to wear out from a stash of lippies without opening it.

Price
RM89, very expensive as a lipstick but I still think it is worth it.

Review
I just love Shiseido Maquillage lipsticks. They are simply the best I've tried. The texture is very moisturizing, very glossy and very light weight. I can't feel anything on my lips with them on, not like other brands lipsticks which you could feel some wax coated on your lips.

The sheer climax has a coat of iridescent shimmer outside of the lipstick but it will wear off after use. I love to look at the beautiful shimmer of the lisptick. I got the color 20. It looks like pure orange color from the tube but it gives a pinkish coral tone on my lips. Very beautiful! I think I'm addicted to it. The shimmer is quite noticeable and the color is consider sheer but could be layered on to get more intensity. I love this range a lot of and would like to collect more from this sheer climax range.

Guerlain - Poudre C'est Moi

Introduction
This is from Guerlain's Christmas collection in year 2006. Along with this collection is the Perles de Velours Meteorites which I have reviewed previously.

Texture
Slightly scented with Guerlain’s signature scent. The texture is ultra fine and silky smooth. One of the finest powder I’ve tried. It contains white sapphire to give the finish some glow and shimmer.

Packaging
I fall for the packaging. I know I gotta have it when I first saw the picture of it. Although it is made of cardboard but still looks elegant and classy with the red and gold color scheme. It also comes with a brush and a holder to separate the brush from the powder itself. Genius!

Price
RM265, 30g.

Review
This babe is so hard to find! I’ve checked almost all the Guerlain counters in KL and all were sold out. Finally I got it shipped from England.

I use this as a finishing powder and I’m impressed of the result. It makes my skin smoother instantly and makes my pores less visible eventually. The shimmer is very subtle and almost invisible on the face but it does give a slight glowing effect. The brush that comes with it also very soft and useable. However, it might gives a white cast to people with darker skintone. My skin is dry and flaky so I don’t use powder normally but I like this one. It doesn’t dry me out.

It is expensive but the generous size and the lovely packaging does make it more worthwhile.

Guerlain - Terracotta Loose Powder Khol 04 Oriental Bronze

Introduction
This is from Guerlain's Terracotta collection for summer 2007. This collection comes with several interesting products which I'll review later. They are the Sun Elixir, Blush & Sun blushers and bronzers.

Texture
Unscented loose powder. The color is a mystical greenish grey with copper sparkles. Really oriental.

Packaging
The packaging is very exotic. The cap is in gold color with Middle East style motif. The tube is transparent which I greatly appreciate because their previous regular eye kohl tube is unable to see how much contain is left in the tube. There is a thin stick attach to the cap which you could pick up the powder from the tube and apply directly to eyes using the stick. What an innovative invention! Without the stick, I really don’t know how I’m going to pour the powder out of the tube. However I do not recommend to use the stick as applicator to avoid contamination. Normally what I do is I use an eyeliner brush to pick up the powder on the stick and apply on eyes. Oh my gosh, it even comes with a velvet pouch!

Price
RM99, 1g. I loves it so I think is worth it.

Review
The color is truly unique! I have not seen any eyeliner in this color. It brighten up my eyes and make them looks mystically bigger instantly! It is a greenish grey with copper sparkles in it. I bet it will look good on everybody. It compliments my brown eyes so well that I'm thinking whether I need a backup of this. I love the Turquoise kohl that Guerlain came out last year and I couldn't find it anywhere now. The applicator is a bit messy to use and some of the powder dropped onto my face but you can always use a eyeliner brush with it. I love this stuff.

Guerlain - Meteorites Pearly Touch Voyage Powder

Introduction
This is Guerlain's limited edition product in year 2006.

Texture
Scented with Guerlain's signature scent but it is subtle. The powder is super fine and super shimmery! It feels like putting pure pigment on your face.

Packaging
I remember the first company that came out with this kind of packaging is Yves Saint Lauren's touchy blush then I see more and more similar packaging. It has a spong attached to the pot and the powder will be dispense when pressing the sponge on your face.

Price
RM179, 7g. The price is way too high for just a 7g of powder! I guess the cost goes to the packaging.

Review
This is a highlighter. It is very shimmery and gives a shimmer pink sheen on the face. So I think you can use it all over the face unless you want to look like a disco ball. Anyway, i love the effect it gives. A sheer pink sheen is perfect to highlight the cheekbone and use under a blush. It gives you a really extraordinary glow. The packaging is a bit crumpsy to use. The sponge is too big for my cheek and hard to put the powder on the exact place that I want. It also hard to control the amount of powder dispensed. I don't feel it is very hygenic as the sponge pressed over my face with foundation although the sponge could be taken out to clean.

Guerlain - Perles de Velours Meteorites Powder for the Face

Introduction
This is Guerlain's yearly Christmas limited edition of Meteorites for year 2006 named Perles de Velours. The main color for this collection is red.

Texture
The powder is not as fine as other loose powder, scented with Guerlain's signature scent but pleasant.

Packaging
The container is made from cardboard in Guerlain Meteorites traditional pattern but in the colors of red and gold.

Price
RM168, 33g.

Review
This Meteorites contains powder balls in shimmery gold, beige, shimmery red, shimmery white, very shimmery pink. This Meteorites is very glittery, similar to other Christmas collection. A unique thing about this Meteorites is the red color actually shows! I can't use it all over my face unless I want to look like I'm drunk. I only could use it as a blush. Oh my gosh, a 33g of blusher! I wonder how could anyone finish it. It might takes up to years even you use everyday. The red is visible even on my medium NC30 skintone, I wonder how could a pale skintone person could wear it all over her face. It does gives a nice flush anyway.
Since I collect these Meteorites so it is in my cabinet but if you're looking for a blusher, I think they are many cheaper and nicer alternatives.

Guerlain - Emillio Pucci KissKiss Lipgloss 05

Introduction
One of the item from the Guerlain by Emillio Pucci collection. It is a limited edition item.

Texture
Same as other Guerlain KissKiss lipgloss, it has a gel like texture, non-sticky, gives a glossy wet look and quite long-lasting. Slightly scented with plum like scents.

Packaging
Unlike other KissKiss lipgloss, the cap comes in silver which I like it more than the traditional gold color. The applicator is a synthetic brush that does a great job in applying the gloss.

Price
RM82. 5ml.

Review
This is one of the most beautiful gloss that I ever seen. It has a silver swirl in it which is packed with multi-colored glitters! So beautiful that I enjoy very much by just looking at it. It gives a very shimmery coral peach color on lips. I wear it alone and the color actually shows on my pigmented lips. The shine is just gorgeous especially under spotlights. The other color from this collection which also with the swirl is a mauve pink color which I can't pull it off. If you only need 1 lipgloss for the night out, this is the gloss. So grab it while it is still available. It is a limited edition!

Guerlain - Emillio Pucci Meteorites Powder for the Face

Introduction
Guerlain and Emilio Pucci (a fashion designer) unveil an unprecedented make-up collection born thanks to an exceptional collaboration: GUERLAIN BY EMILIO PUCCI. This limited edition collections totally has 8 products. They includes 4 Kisskiss lipglosses, 1 Bubble Blush, a palette consists of 4 eye shadows, mascara, eyeliner inside a Pucci pouch, pink powder brush with Pucci pouch and the Meteorties powder for the face.
I only bought the gloss in 05 Twist of Peach (will be reviewed later) and this Meteorites Powder. The eye set is way overpriced here (RM333) while it is selling for USD75 (<>RM250) in US.

Texture
The powder is not as fine as other loose powder, scented with Guerlain's signature scent but pleasant.

Packaging
The container is made from cardboard and the pattern design is Pucci's pattern. This is the 1st Guerlain Meteorites that doesn't come in their traditional design as you can see from my previous reviews. Their traditional design is very classic and the Pucci pattern is so modern that it doesn't feel they doesn't look like siblings when put together.
Price
RM180, 33g. A little more expensive than the traditional Meteorites (RM168).

Review
This Pucci Meteorites contains powder balls in shimmery gold, matte white, matte turquoise, mauve pink and beige. It gives a subtle golden sheen when applied. It is not as glittery as other Christmas collection Meteorites which I prefered. It is close to the Beige Chic Meteorites but more glowy. I used it all over the face as setting powder and it works great on me. The whole 33g jar does last forever so I'm swapping away half of the jar. Anyway, this is not a must have product but it is a great way to pamper yourself :).
